The Perennial Library

Literature in English, in editions worth the second reading it deserves.

Some books suffer from being assigned. They are handed out at fourteen in a cheap edition, remembered as homework, and never opened again — which is a particular loss when the book is sharper and stranger than its reputation.

This series takes familiar titles seriously: properly set, with an introduction written for an adult returning to something they think they already know.
